The Circle of Friendship
Who is the Girl Scout family?
Our Girl Scout family comprises alumni, volunteers, parents, board members, and staff. Each of their contributions to our council positively impact the success of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. From our 6,000 volunteers to the parents who drive their girls to troop meetings and cookie booths, we have an expansive network of people who have invested personally in our mission. When our community brings their unfiltered, authentic selves to Girl Scouts, it shows the next generation that they are powerful and unique. Girls gain the courage to try new things, test their limits, and work toward goals as a team. We invite you to become a champion for girls and contribute to our movement that continues to create girls of courage, confidence, and character.
What is The Circle of Friendship?
The Circle of Friendship is a special opportunity for our Girl Scout family to unite while raising funds that directly impact the Girl Scout Experience. Each of our signature programs provides handson learning and girl-led activities. From the iconic Girl Scout Cookie Program with its essential lessons in money management and entrepreneurship to the fun and adventure of summer camp, Girl Scouts empowers girls to take controlled risks on their paths of becoming leaders of the future. A monthly gift to the Circle of Friendship ($10, $25, $50, or more) ensures that you are supporting the success of ongoing and future girl programs. Circle of Friendship members will be connected to a powerful community of Girl Scout champions. As a part of this giving circle, you will be invited to an exclusive event each year, receive special councillevel recognition, and receive a fun membership pin to wear while you’re out in the community to express your Girl Scouts pride!
