The Board Development Committee (BDC) is responsible for partnering with the board to build a high-performing board that is as effective as it can be. The committee recruits and slates nominees for council leadership and works closely with the board to ensure board orientation, ongoing education and assessment.

Volunteer Governance Committees are made up of volunteers with particular expertise and a shared passion for the Girl Scout mission. Volunteer Governance Committees contribute significantly to the success of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida.
