Media Girls
The Media Girls are a team of Girl Scouts that help tell the Girl
Scout story through media interviews, community events, content
creation and more. They are often featured in marketing materials,
social media, and council communications (videos, blogs, etc.). Media
Girls develop personal, social, and professional skills by
participating in opportunities throughout the year (the earn some
badges, too).
Media Girls thrive in front of the camera and behind it. They exude courage, confidence, and character. They are ambitious, creative, brave and determined. They’re Girl Scouts through and through—and they’re not afraid to show it!
Throughout the year, Media Girls:
Participate in mentoring opportunities with local professionals.
Beta test programs and events and share their experiences.
Represent Girl Scouts at special council and community events
Explore interests in writing, marketing, public relations, journalism, photography and more!
