Pre-K Early Registration

Starting April 1, 2022, Girl Scouts will offer parents of Pre-K or Transitional Kindergarten girls (who are entering kindergarten in the fall) with the option to register their new Girl Scouts with the Extended Year Membership option. This option covers the remainder of the current membership year, and the entirety of the upcoming membership year.

While girls must be in traditional kindergarten and at least five years old to participate in Girl Scouts, Extended Year Membership provides families of Pre-K girls with a head start on finding a troop for the upcoming membership year and provides parent volunteers with additional time to prepare for an amazing Girl Scout year.

What is the timeframe for Extended Year Membership?
The  Extended Year purchase option covers April 1, 2022 – September 30, 2023. The traditional membership year is October 1, 2022 – September 30, 2023,  and this gives families the opportunity to take advantage of pro-rated membership.

Extended Year Girl Membership is $35
Extended Year Adult Membership is $35
