Discover your inner Girl Scout and Purple Person—it’s way easier and more fun than you may think.

Paint your world purple and join us for a virtual event on Thursday, May 19 with actor, producer, parent, and Girl Scout alum Kristen Bell, co-author of #1 New York Times bestseller The World Needs More Purple People, as she chats about what it means to be a Purple Person and completes fun activities to show off those Purple People skills.

This virtual event will air at two times on Thursday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m. ET and 6:30 p.m. PT. Join early at 6 p.m. ET/PT for a special pre-show featuring Girl Scouts from across the country.

This members-only event is open to Girl Scouts who join or renew their membership from April 1 through May 13.

Her next adventure to take, new territory to explore, or barrier to break, is all waiting her in the new Girl Scout year! We have carefully curated experiences to help girls think creatively and discover their interests, passions and ambitions without limitations.

Get ready for another year of Girl Scouting by renewing your Girl Scout membership early. Early renewal takes place from April 1 - May 20, 2022.

All re-registering girls will receive a T-shirt and patch. All re-registering adults will receive a T-shirt. To receive these incentives, submit your troop finance paperwork, T-shirt/patch order form and registrations with payment by May 20, 2022 .

Troop Leaders

Complete Early Membership Renewal by following these easy steps:

Read the Early Renewal Email that was sent to troop leaders.
Identify all the members that will be renewing. Simply ask the parent/guardian who will be renewing for next year. Explain that if they renew now, they will receive a T-shirt and a patch.
Collect the money needed for renewal. Remember, some girls may have earned a membership from selling cookies. There is also financial assistance needed for those who qualify.
Collect the T-shirt sizes for everyone renewing. This includes adults.
Contact your Member Engagement Coordinator to renew your troop over the phone. Have a payment source with you. This can be the troop debit card or if you are ACH Ready, we can ACH the money from your troop account.

Parents/Guardians

Complete early membership renewal by following these easy steps:

Contact your girl’s troop leader and ask if the troop is going to complete early renewal. If they are, work with the troop leader to renew. If they are not, proceed to the following steps.
Call 888-623-1237 and let the person that answers know that you want to renew your girl’s membership for the upcoming year.
1. They will ask you for your $25 at this time along with your girl’s T-shirt size.
