Uniforms

Girl Scouts may choose to wear uniforms at meetings or Girl Scout events to:

Reinforce the sense of belonging to the Girl Scout Movement.

A Girl Scout is proud to wear her uniform because it symbolizes the high ideals for which Girl Scouting stands.

An official sash or vest worn with a white shirt and khaki pants is required when girls participate in ceremonies or officially represent the Girl Scout movement in any capacity.

The official uniform for adults is navy blue business attire worn with a Girl Scout scarf and membership pins for women and the Girl Scout Service Mark tie for men.
