Camp Tanasi

Girl Scout Camp Tanasi encompasses 461 acres of scenic wooded property near Norris, Tennessee. Amenities include a waterfront program area, pool, cabins and tents, and a climbing tower. Girl Scouts can use our camp for day visits and events, troop camping, and service unit encampments.

This camp is accredited by the American Camp Association.

Overnight camping is permitted for all Girl Scout grade levels.
Program in a Box available (suitable for all grade levels; younger girls will need adult assistance).

Cedars

Type of Facility: Platform Tents
Bed: Metal Cots with mattresses

2 Unit Shelters: Covered Shelter with picnic tables and counter for prepping food/activities. There is a sink, fire place and refrigerator.
Bathroom: bathhouse with 4 toilets, 4 sinks and 3 showers.

Crafty Fox

Bed: Mattress that can be put on the floor
Sleeps: 15
Kitchen: Full kitchen (See facility use chart)
Bathroom: A single shower/toilet and another single stall bathroom

Daydreams

Deep Woods

Echo Cove

Type of Facility: 3 Platform Cabins
Bed: Wooden slab with mattress and some bunkbeds

Unit Shelters: Covered Shelter with picnic tables. Indoor unit shelter with tables, chairs and small bathroom with sinks and toilets. This is where the kitchen is.
Bathroom: Bathhouse-3 toilets, 3 sinks and 3 showers.

Far Horizons

Type of Facility: 2 Platform Cabins
Bed: Metal Cots with mattresses
Sleeps: 12
Unit Shelter: Covered Shelter with picnic tables and counter for prepping food/activities. There is a sink, fireplace and refrigerator.
