Signature Stamp – each person in your troop or family designates their own stamp. This can be made or purchased from a craft or thrift store.
Letterboxing
Girl Scout families and troops are invited to join in the fun, outdoor hobby of Letterboxing! Brownie Girl Scouts can earn a badge and all other levels can earn a fun patch by trying this unique treasure-hunt-inspired activity.
Letterboxing combines artistic ability with treasure-hunting in parks, forests, and cities around the world. Participants seek out hidden letterboxes by cracking codes and following clues. The prize: an image from a miniature piece of art known as a rubber stamp—often a unique, hand-carved creation.
Letterboxers stamp their discoveries in a personal journal, then use their own rubber stamp, called a signature stamp, to stamp into the letterbox’s logbook.
To start collecting letterbox stamps, all you need is:
Ink pad
Log Book (small notebook without lines) or index cards
Pen
