Our Properties

Girl Scouts of Colorado has eight unique camp property spaces across the state available for troops, Girl Scout groups, families and outside user groups to rent. Take a hike in Rocky Mountain National park from Meadow Mountain Ranch, hang from a zip-line across the meadow at Sky High and visit the farm animals or shoot a bullseye on the archery course at Tomahawk Ranch!

Tomahawk Ranch

This camp is located 45 minutes southwest of Denver in Bailey and on almost 500 picturesque mountain acres. There are multiple accommodation options including fully furnished cabins, three seasonal units and more rustic accommodations. Year-round food service is provided for those staying in seasonal shelters and platform tent units and is required for those staying in the cabins. Tomahawk Ranch is a great place for hiking, conservation projects, cooking out and winter activities. Staff led programming is available.

Sky High Ranch

Located in a forested, rustic setting one hour northwest of Colorado Springs located in Pike National Forest. This popular camp features a wide variety of camping options including cabins, seasonal platform tents, and tabins – a cross between a tent and a cabin. Troops may also rent the lodge and Troop House. Meal service and staff led programming is available.

Meadow Mountain Ranch

Bordering the southeast side of Rocky Mountain National Park, this rustic 200 acre property is bursting with beauty and Girl Scout history and offers a wealth of hiking and camping activities. The lodge is available for overnight use for 40 people or day use for 110 people. Tabins (a cross between a tent and cabin) are available for lodging. Build a campfire at Green Cathedral, hike into Rocky Mountain National Park, explore nature on the Nature Trail, and practice your outdoor cooking. Meadow Mountain Ranch is the perfect place for your next adventure!

Twisted Pine

A beautiful stone lodge set in the hills of Genesee is a perfect mountain getaway only 30 minutes from Denver! Up to 26 people can comfortably sleep on the floor on mattresses in three bedrooms at Twisted Pine. Enjoy exploring this 10 acre property or take a hike at Genesee Mountain Park where you might see the bison and elk herds that call this area home.

Hamp Hut

Located inside Garden of the Gods park, this lodge is available exclusively for Girl Scout members to enjoy. The lodge can sleep 30 with mattresses on the floor. Take advantage of this amazing location to explore and learn about the geology and natural surroundings of this registered National Natural Landmark. Or use the lodge as a home base for adventures in Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, or Woodland Park!

Lazy Acres

Nestled in the San Isabel National Forest near the town of Rye, this green, rustic property is the perfec location for a hike to the creek, exploring the woods, and find beautiful overlooking views as you relax and reflect in nature. to 40 can sleep on mattresses on the floor of the lodge or in cabins that sleep 4 to 6 in each building.

Pawnee Lodge

Pawnee Lodge is located in the west end of Sterling in Pioneer Park and was remodeled in 2012. It’s open year-round and can accommodate up to 20 people for day and overnight use. Pawnee Lodge features a loft for craft activities and a fully-equipped kitchen. The grounds offer a level playing field. A visit to the historic museum in Sterling rounds out a fun time.·

Hotel Chipeta

Hotel Chipeta is a large room located in our Grand Junction office that can accommodate up to 25 people for meetings, programs, events and overnight stays. The Grand Junction office also has a large outdoor area, the outdoor program center, with a gazebo, picnic tables and space for outdoor activities.

Property Reservations

GSCO has removed overnight capacity limits for properties and troops can book as normal. Large groups, such as Service Unit Campouts will have to follow some basic COVID-19 guidelines that will need to be reviewed.. Read more about those guidelines.

Due to increased costs, GSCO is raising the fee to reserve properties by about 7%, effective June 15, 2022, for future reservations. This is the first price increase since 2018.
