Trouble Logging In?

Q: Why isn’t my username working?
A: Your username is typically your email address. If you have more than one email address, try each. You can also use the “Forgot Your Password?” link to send a reset email to your email address. If you’re still having trouble, contact your council’s Customer Care team.

Q: Why aren’t I getting the password reset emails?
A: The password reset emails come from gsusacustomercare@girlscouts.org, so please make sure it’s added to your safe senders list. If you requested the reset email before marking our email address as safe, check your spam folder. If you’re still not receiving the email, contact your council’s Customer Care team to verify that your username/email address is correct.

Q: How do I reset my password when I no longer have access to the email address associated with my account?
A: Your council’s Customer Care team can easily change your username/email address without requiring you to recreate your account.

Q: Why can’t I see my family when I log in?
A: There are a couple reasons this could happen:

  • Another adult family member may be listed as the preferred contact on the account. That person must log in to renew. Contact your council’s Customer Care team if you’d like to be listed as your household’s preferred contact.
  • You may have a second or duplicate account with a different email address. Try a different username. If that works, be sure to contact your council’s Customer Care team to merge the two accounts into one.

Q: Why can’t I see my troop(s) when I log in?
A: There are several reasons this could happen:

  • Troops are listed on a separate tab from your family. If you have more than one troop, look for the pull-down menu to change between them.
  • Check your member profile to make sure you’re listed as a volunteer in the troop.
  • Not all troop volunteers can access the troop tab. Check with your council to see which volunteer roles they allow to access the tab.
  • If your background check has expired, you may lose access until it is up-to-date.

Your council’s Customer Care team can provide additional support.

How to Renew
  1. Click on the Yellow MyGS on the Menu Bar Your Username is your email address used at the time of your last registration. If you forget your password, click “Forgot Password”, enter your email address. You will receive an email within 10 minutes from Member Community with a link to Reset your password.
  2. Click the “Next Year” option from the Menu Bar in your Household Account
  3. Select Renew Now for all the Household/ Troop Members that need to renew. Select “Renew Later” for everyone else. Please do not select Do not Renew. If any information has changed, you can edit it in your Family Profile
  4. Complete the screens and make a payment.  You will receive a completion email.

How it works: All members renewed by June 30 will be sent a survey to choose what prize they would like to be entered to win. (Renewals before May 31 will get 10 entries for that prize. Winners will be notified around July 10 via email/phone and be posted on social media pages. Only those who complete the survey by July 9 will be entered to win those prizes.) Lifetime members are included in the drawings and leader incentive, as long as roles for 2023-24 are renewed.

100% Troop Renewal Drawings:

  • Troop Program-on-demand (one per region, must be used by 9/30/23)
  • Overnight rental at Lakeside (Camp Sacajawea, *must be used by 6/30/24)
  • Overnight rental at Friendship Lodge (Camp Amity Acres, *must be used by 6/30/24)
  • Extra 5 cents for 2024 Cookie Sale:
    • 100% troop renewal (at least 5 girls/2 adults)
    • 100% troop participation in the Fall Product Program and total troop sales of $1,300. Participation in the Fall Product program means the girl sends at least the minimum number of emails to earn the first patch level.
    • 100% participation in the 2024 Cookie Product Program, with all girls earning the minimum participation patch.
    • 100% renewal will be based on membership as of 4/1/23. (New girls recruited to replace nonrenewing girls will count towards the 100%)

In addition, families of girls who sell 500+ boxes of cookies and choose incentives will receive renewal instructions after April 12 to process their free membership renewal. Renewals completed within the early bird period will receive incentives, based on date of online renewal.

 

Product Sales/Renewal incentive FAQ

2024 Early Bird Renewal - Product Sales

If your Girl Scout has earned the membership at the 500 box level and she opts in for rewards, she will receive a GS membership credit. When you register your girl, please choose program credit as your payment. If you renew after April 12 but before May 1-May 8, you will receive credit for Week 1 renewal.

How can my troop earn the additional 5 cent Cookie Bonus Incentive?

Troops with 100% renewal (with at least 5 girls and 2 adults) are eligible for the 5 cent per box bonus for the 2024 Cookie Program. To receive this bonus, troop must also have 100% troop participation in the Fall Product Program and total troop sales of $1,300. Participation in the Fall Product program means the girl sends at least the minimum number of emails to earn the first patch level. *Troop must also have 100% participation in the 2024 Cookie Product Program, with all girls earning the minimum participation patch.

How can my Juliette earn the additional 5 cent Cookie Bonus Incentive?

Juliettes must sell a minimum of $325 in product and send at least the minimum number of emails to earn the first patch in the Fall Product Program. The Juliette must then sell the minimum to earn the participation patch during the 2024 Cookie Program.
