Council-Own Patches

Girl Scouts is girl-led, girl-driven! That's why we've created several council-own patch programs that girls have helped develop, create and write!

It's Okay Patch

Its-Okay-patch

Through times of uncertainty and adjusting to a new normal, we have all experienced loneliness and isolation. Our council partnered with the State of Tennessee’s Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services to develop a meaningful program that addresses mental wellness in a safe space where girls can discuss and share their feelings and thoughts. Teaching girls to be resilient, ready, and strong is our ultimate goal. We want girls to reach their highest potential and lift themselves and others up. This patch program guides girls through their own wellness journey and gives them the tools to help rise above emotional challenges. Click Here to Download the Patch Program.

She's My Friend Patch

She's My Friend

As Girl Scouts we strive to be friendly and helpful, considerate and caring and respectful to all people. We are sisters to every Girl Scout and can help to make the world a better place by exploring and celebrating diversity. Through the She’s My Friend Patch Program, girls will explore inclusivity, the value of each person in a society and discover the confidence to stand up for what is right. Girl Scouts encourages every girl to develop her own beliefs and to advocate for them.  Click Here to Download the Patch Program.

Stand Beside Her Patch Program

SBH-2022-Patch-Artwork

The Stand Beside Her Patch Program is a way for Girl Scouts to gain a concrete understanding of the Stand Beside Her movement so that they become change agents in their communities to shift the way girls and women treat one another.  Click Here to download the patch program guidelines.
Through the Stand Beside Her movement, we hope that all girls will not only be appreciated and respected for their talents, strengths, and unique qualities, but also choose to stand beside other amazing girls and women. at www.standbesideher.org.

THE BEAT OF MY HEART: Walk to the Beat of Your Own Drum

Beat of My Heart Patch

When we walk to the beat of our own drum it gives us the opportunity to build our confidence, become a true friend, and be kind to ourselves and others. Girl Scouts gives us the opportunity to walk to the beat of our own drum with everything we do. Whether it be camp, troop meetings, on the playground, or in the hallways of our school, we can confidently be our best selves to ourselves and others. By being uniquely us, we can impact the world every single day. What you do makes a difference, and this patch program will help you decide how you want to make a difference. Even when we are struggling to find ourselves, we can make a change to find the rhythm of our hearts and be authentic and welcoming to everyone we meet.

Be A PAL Patch Program 200x256

Be A PAL Food Allergy Awareness Patch Program

This patch program teaches Girl Scouts how to better understand food allergies and to know the importance of how to help an individual suffering from an allergic reaction. By learning about food allergies, you can help allergic individuals avoid risks, and know what to do if a reaction should occur.

Once you complete this patch program you should feel confident in the following:

  1. Being able to identify common allergens.
  2. Preparing allergy-friendly foods with substitutes.
  3. Knowing what to do if someone suffers from a reaction.

Purchase your Be A PAL patch in your local Trefoil Trunk council shop location.
