Align local efforts to the Girl Scout Movement’s national strategic priorities
Strategic Plan
To ensure Girl Scouts’ place as the leading expert on girls and to maintain our competitive advantage, Girl Scouts–North Carolina Coastal Pines maintains a three-year strategic planning cycle to:
Identify and elevate the needs of our communities to ensure the council’s strategic priorities continue to serve and support girls across central and eastern North Carolina
Promote the development and implementation of initiatives that will lead to the achievement of our strategic goals and safeguard the legacy of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience for generations to come.
As we look to the future, Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines
has refined our strategic pillars to focus on 6 areas, each working in
concert to align our efforts and achieve our overarching goal to reach
and retain more girls. Our 2021-2023 strategic pillars are:
Reach and retain more girls
Support the volunteer experience
Relevant brand
Strengthen and diversify revenue
Effective operations
Diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and racial justice (DEIB/RJ)
Inspired by the girls we serve, our 2021-2023 Strategic Plan is a combination of bold initiatives and creative ideas that remain rooted in our commitment to provide opportunities and experiences that engage and inspire girls while remaining focused on our brand values of self-expression, inclusion, community, integrity, and discovery.
Girl Scouts–North Carolina Coastal Pines invites our members, volunteers, partners, donors, and families to review our 2021-2023 Strategic Plan and to submit questions, comments and feedback to our strategy team.
Thank you for your partnership and support as together we continue to encourage girls chase their dreams, discover their untapped potential, and become the leaders that our businesses, communities, and planet needs.
