Send a Girl to Camp
Summer camp is about more than s’mores: it’s a place where girls grow into leaders.
Girl Scout camp provides a safe place for girls to make new friends, unplug, learn about their environment, and take on new responsibilities. They sing around campfires and cheer each other on. They swim and laugh. They try new things and gain confidence that will serve them all their lives.
You can make this possible. Through a full or partial camp scholarship (campership), you can give a girl with a financial need equal access to camp. For this girl, camp may be her only outdoor experience: the majority (52%) of low-income girls who participate in outdoor activities with the Girl Scouts say that they would not otherwise be able to do so.
