Friendship Circle

Emerald Circle

"Ours is a circle of friends united by ideals."
-Juliette Gordon Low, Girl Scouts Founder

Our Emerald Circle of leadership giving represents an unbroken chain of sisterhood among Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the world. Girl Scouts was established in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low in a time when women were still denied the right to vote. Since then, countless influential women have come forward to support the Girl Scout mission.

Today, Emerald Circle members continue the legacy of these strong-minded women.
