GSEMA Camps

Are you dreaming of summer camp? So are we! Check out the 2023 Camp Guide to browse all camp sessions and for more information about summer camp. Prior Girl Scout membership is not required to come to camp.

Girl Scout camps and outdoor experiences provide opportunities for campers to discover, connect, and take action in ways that build their courage, confidence, and character. GSEMA camps offer campers unique and adventurous opportunities in the outdoors, including archery, rock climbing, ropes courses, swimming, survival camping, and more!

Our camp properties host summer day camp and resident camp, year-round outdoor adventure programs, and troop, and group camping. Prior Girl Scout membership is not required to come to camp.

American Camp Association Accredited

Our camps are accredited by The American Camp Association (ACA). ACA accreditation means that the camp undergoes a thorough annual review of its operation—from staff qualifications and training to emergency management.

Summer Resident and Day Camp

Research shows that summer camp can help children retain a significant amount of what they learn during the school year. Girl Scout camp is a safe environment where Girl Scouts have fun with friends, play outdoors, and explore new activities. Campers get to be decision-makers with leadership opportunities in every program.

Our day camps are located a short bus ride from home: Camp Cedar Hill in Waltham, Camp Maude Eaton in Andover, Camp Rice Moody in Reading, and Camp Wind-in-the-Pines in Plymouth. Bus transportation is included in the fee.

Our resident camps are Camp Favorite in Brewster, Camp Runels in Pelham, NH and Camp Wind-in-the-Pines in Plymouth.

Not sure which camp is right for your camper? Check out the 2023 Camp Guide.

A GSEMA camp gift certificate can be redeemed for camp sessions at any of our day or resident camps. Anyone can give the gift of a week (or more!). Visit a GSEMA shop or email us for more information.

Year-Round Outdoor Programs

We offer fun, hands-on outdoor experiences throughout the year that enrich campers’ lives. Our year-round outdoor adventures are opportunities for Girl Scouts to learn skills to resolve conflict, embrace differences, get along with others, and work together to achieve a shared goal. The atmosphere of acceptance and sharing at our camps helps everyone thrive.

Troop/Group Camping and Event Rentals

Troop Camping:  Troop camping reservations will be available to all troops 10 business days after opening day for encampments. Opening days for encampments are November 15 for reservations between February-August, and April 15 for September-January.

We will continue to monitor GSUSA, MA.gov, NH.gov, and CDC guidance to provide health and safety recommendations and guidelines as needed for all of our outdoor programming. Stay tuned to our Volunteer Resources page for updates.
