Ways to Give

Through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, girls develop the competencies, positive values, and strong sense of self to do big things, as well as the grit and strength that are essential to solving both everyday and once-a-century challenges. That’s the Girl Scout difference.

By investing in Girl Scouts and amplifying their voices, you give them a chance to discover a lifetime of self-assurance, adventure, and achievement. Girl Scouts need your support, and the world needs more Girl Scouts.

Double your impact! Many employers offer matching gift or volunteer recognition programs for employees, employees’ spouses, or retired employees. Check with your personnel department for details, or contact Torey Johnson at 978-269-6662 for assistance.

Annual Fund and Giving Tuesday

With a gift to our Annual Fund on Giving Tuesday or beyond, you can be a champion for all Girl Scouts as they pursue their passions and forge their future. This type of unrestricted funding supports all aspects of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, from financial assistance to volunteer training and much more, strengthening our ability to provide an equitable experience for each Girl Scout. You can make a one-time gift, set up a recurring gift and join the Friendship Circle, or join other circles and societies

Tributes and Memorials

Gifts in Someone’s Honor or Memory
You can make your gift to GSEMA in memory or in honor of a loved one or friend. On the Donate Page, under Tribute Gift, check the box and a drop-down menu will appear. We will send a notification if you so choose and list the person you are recognizing in the Annual Report.

Commemorative Bricks
Reserve a prominent place in Girl Scout history for yourself or a loved one by purchasing a commemorative brick with a personalized message to be installed at Camp Cedar Hill.  This is the perfect way to express congratulations for a Gold Award, to recognize a birthday, graduation or wedding, or to show sympathy or appreciation.

Gifts of Stock

Gifts of appreciated stock or securities provide the opportunity to make a substantial gift to our Council, avoid capital gains taxes, and use the gift as a charitable tax donation. Please contact Annie Garmey for more information including steps to transferring appreciated stock and securities to Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts.

Donor Advised Funds

GSEMA is pleased to accept gifts from Donor Advised Funds (DAF). DAF Direct makes it easy for you to recommend a grant to GSEMA from your donor advised fund. You will not incur any download or transaction fees. We are very grateful for gifts from other donor advised funds as well. Please contact Annie Garmey if you need more information.
