Giving Tuesday
We’ve all done an incredible job to support Girl Scouts through this
wild and strange year, and we at GSNorCal are gearing up to continue
to improve that support, no matter what 2021 looks like. Your work as
volunteers is so important, and deeply appreciated. Today on this
Giving Tuesday, we may not be able to be together physically but we
can give thanks for the gift of Sisterhood, Resilience, and
Community.
If you can, we’d be delighted by your donation
in any amount, or spread the word in your communities, both online and
off, to donate to Girl Scouts using the hashtags #GivingTuesday
#PowerOurPromise and #TogetherWeGive. Text SISTERHOOD to 243725 to
donate, or give online!
Fall Resources for Girl Scout Go-Getting
Whether you’re prepping for
a uniquely digital Cookie Program or finding ways for girls to grow
in confidence and resilience by gaining new skills at home, these
resources have you covered this fall.
Prep for 2021 Cookie Program
Although the Cookie Program has been digital for years, this may be your troop’s first year relying solely on digital or remote sales to power their cookie businesses. Digital Cookie opens January 15, with online stores launching to the public January 23, but there’s still plenty of time to dive into all the resources and tips your troop needs to become digital marketing mavens.
30+ Essential Life Skills for Girl Scout Independence
Just because your troop is stuck at home doesn’t mean that there isn’t time for learning, growth, and resilience! Check out these 30+ essential life skills girls can learn at home to prepare them to be independent and confident adults.
