Girl Scouts may have looked pretty different this April compared to last year, but GSNorCal is doing everything we can to make sure our volunteers, girls, and members get the support they need. To help you continue to be the incredible volunteers, we’re trying to make renewal as easy as possible this year!
We’ve got instructions and videos for both troops and households on how to renew, as well as instructions on how to apply Product Program Reward Cards to membership fees! Remember that there is also financial aid available for renewal dues, or, if your whole troop agrees, it’s a great use of troop funds so that everyone can feel that Girl Scout sisterhood during these trying times.
Psst... There's a brand-new way to submit your Troop Finance Report! All Troop Leaders and Troop Treasurers should have received emails by now covering the changes to the process, and how to complete the Troop Finance Report in the Volunteer Toolkit (VTK) on the Finance Tab.
The form covers the same expense and income questions as last year, so it should be a cinch for Troop Leaders and Troop Treasurers to complete the finance tracking sheet, review the troop funds, and submit the form by May 31, 2020. If you have any questions, please contact our Membership Service Team via email info@gsnorcal.org or by phone M-F, 9 AM - 5 PM at 800-447-4475 ext. 0.
NEW: Renew using Cookie Program Reward Cards! Girl Scouts is there for girls when they need it the most. Keep your girls engaged and inspired to be their best, bravest, boldest self each and every day with our all-new virtual troop meetings and events for just $40 for the year! Use Your Girl Scout Funds to Renew.

Self-Care for Kids During COVID-19
As we continue to shelter in place as a state to flatten the curve and save lives, it can be a challenge to help our kids deal with the stress of this situation. Here are some great suggestions on how to keep kids feeling connected, empowered, and engaged during COVID-19.
National Bridging Week
Just because you can’t meet with your troop doesn’t mean
girls aren’t bridging to the next level! Learn how to earn
bridging awards at home and connect with other troops virtually.
Volunteer Award Nominations
Have your volunteers gone above and beyond the call of duty this year? Nominate them for a national or council-level award! We know you know the best volunteers in Girl Scouts, so make sure they get the recognition they deserve. Nominations for national and council awards are due June 30.

Does your employer
offer “Dollars for Doers"? Many companies encourage their
employees to volunteer in the communities where they live and work—in
turn, the employer will offer matching dollars for the hours. Inquire
with your Human Resources department about your program, or check out
this list of companies that offer this kind of
financial support!
