Global Action Days
As a Girl Scout, you can take part in Girl Scout activities that relate to global issues affecting women and girls around the world. We emphasize nine international days of action—including World Thinking Day, World Environment Day, and International Day of the Girl—that rally you to take the lead to make the world a better place! World Thinking Day 
Every year on February 22, Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from around the world come together to focus on one important topic that can change the world for the better. This year’s theme is Leadership. Global Action Award
The Girl Scout Global Action award recognizes girls’ commitment to improving the world as they discover, connect, and take action to address issues in their community and beyond. The United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals are the focus, with this year’s award targeting Goal 1, No Poverty; and Goal 15, Life on Land.  Get started.
