Invest in girls. Change the world.

For more than 100 years, Girl Scouts has proudly encouraged girls to do anything they set their sights on. From travelling to foreign countries to explore their passions, to investing money from cookie sales right back into her community, Girl Scouts are tomorrow’s leaders. With your help, together, we can make the world a better place.

Empowering girls.

The Girl Scouts Leadership Experience is what makes our program unique. The Girl Scout program is an integrated leadership experience that develops life skills from financial literacy, to effective communication, to healthy living and environmental science. When you support Girl Scouts Western Oklahoma, you become part of the solution. Imagine what an entire generation of girls can do, if we equip them with the knowledge they need to succeed. Your donation is important to us, no matter the size. Girls are worthy of your investment and on behalf of them and their future, we thank you.

Gold Award Girl Scouts

The Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest honor a Girl Scout can earn, acknowledges the power behind each recipient’s dedication to not only empowering and bettering herself, but also to making the world a better place for others. Gold Award Girl Scouts are courageous leaders and visionary change makers. This is a take-action project, which includes five essential elements: identifies the root cause of a community issue she is passionate about, it takes action to solve the problem and has long-term benefits, she must show active leadership, and lastly, it must be sustainable and measurable with a global link included.

Take a moment to look at some examples of projects girls have worked on in the past here

In-Kind Wish List
  • Pontoon or Family-Style Boat: A boat would greatly enhance our waterfront programming at Camp E-Ko-Wah. Additionally, a boat would provide emergency transportation to support girl safety in the event of a waterfront accident.
  • Airline Miles: Our girls are amazing and continue to do great things that garner national attention. Oftentimes we have national media opportunities that require travel for a girl and chaperone. Your airline miles would help meet this need. Miles could also support staff travel to national trainings and presentations out of state.
  • Digital Marketing Equipment: Help us bring our equipment into the 21st century. Our marketing team is in need of a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera with manual setting capabilities, a digital video camera, and a photography light box. If you're upgrading your equipment, have more than you need or just want to make space in your garage or office, give us a call!
  • 4 Seater Side-by-Side/ATV: Getting around at Camp E-Ko-Wah can take some time. Getting from point A to point B can take a while on foot. With a 4-seater side-by-side, we would be able to haul items and get around camp in a timely manner.
