Host an unforgettable Glow Party where you can paint on canvas in the dark with paints that glow!

Art Signals Studio is the perfect place to celebrate a Bridging Event, Award Ceremony, End of Year gathering, or just to spend time together as a troop! Even if you aren't working on a badge, Art Signals is still a great place for a creative field trip! You can coordinate with a badge project or just come in for some creative fun.

Discover Boston's oldest neighborhood on a Pizza Tour through the North End. Enjoy 3 different slices of pizza, bottled water and cannoli to finish. During this 2+ hour walking tour (approx 1.0 mile) the scouts will see and learn the history of 5 Freedom Trail sites, including Paul Revere house, Old North church, USS Constitution, etc..

Our North End Pizza Tour is a TripAdvisor "Hall of Fame" activity, and we even partnered with Adventures by Disney (yes, that Disney!) back in 2017. Girl Scouts have been enjoying Boston Pizza Tours for 10+ years.

Every Girl Scout Troop has a few “favorite” activities on their annual calendar! Adventuring at our high ropes course provides an experience to bond, grow individually, and never get tired of. Troop members and their families can all participate at the discounted group rate. There are 9 courses, 4 levels of difficulty, and 17 ziplines, appropriate for beginners or advanced adventurers. Our mission is to give our guests the opportunity to challenge themselves mentally & physically. Climb and swing your way through obstacles and have a great time doing it!

This program will satisfy elements of the Junior through Ambassador Climbing Adventure Badges as well as the Ambassador Ultimate Recreation Challenge Badge.

Safe Sitter® is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The Instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. Students learn:

Safety Skills: Students learn how to prevent unsafe situations and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies.

Child Care Skills: Students learn tips to manage behavior that will help them stay in control of themselves and the children in their care. Students also learn the ages and stages of child development, as well as practice diapering.

First Aid & Rescue Skills: Learning skills such as choking rescue and CPR is often students’ favorite part of the class. Students also learn a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses. Greater Boston Safety Training partners with the American Health and Safety Institute to include a First Aid and CPR certicate.

Life & Business Skills: The ability to screen jobs, discuss fees, and greet employers will set students up for success now and in the future. Students practice these skills through various role plays.

We are providing a 2 hour program - Art and Yoga Experience

The girls will use their imagination and experiment with various materials to create a work of art. This can be a specific theme or focus. Art supplies included and projects are taken home.

Then, the girls participate in a fun yoga class that introduces many yoga poses while building strength, balance, flexibility and releases stress. The girls will practice on their own and in pairs. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. Yoga sessions taught by Registered Yoga Instructor Paula Wilson. BOTH sessions are geared for girls in their specific age groups. Renee and Paula have offered these fun workshops for 5 years to Girl Scouts of all ages.

*South Shore Safety offers Girl Scouts two dynamic, interactive courses:
Home Alone/Staying Safe, and Babysitter Safety. Both courses align with Girl Scout badges. We make serious business fun!*

HOME ALONE STAYING SAFE, (4-5 Junior) 2.5-hours This class covers both home alone safety and street smarts. It will prepare kids to handle most home alone situations, from an unexpected knock on the door to an emergency 911 phone call. It also covers food/kitchen safety, choking rescue, basic first aid, handling fears, basic street smarts, self-defense techniques and lots of prevention!

BABYSITTER SAFETY TRAINING, (6-8 Cadette) 2.5-hours Parents will feel more secure and be more likely to hire someone who has taken Babysitter Safety Training. Kids who are trained in Babysitter Safety will have more confidence in dealing with the challenges that may face them while caring for children of all ages and stages, from accidents to tantrums. Students will learn about infant and child-care, child development, basic first aid and choking prevention, injury prevention, safe marketing strategies and much more. Certificate of Completion included.
