Are you excited to work directly with Girl Scouts in a troop to discover new skills, make lifelong friends, and have fun changing the world? You will love being part of a troop’s leadership team! Troop leaders are provided with start-up training resources and ongoing support from dedicated council staff members. They set up the troop’s schedule, plan and facilitate regular troop meetings, and connect with the local Girl Scout community. Need more information before you say yes? Check out the New Leader’s Guide to Success and Troop Leader position description.
Ways to Volunteer
You can help Girl Scouts become their best selves. You can give Girl Scouts opportunities to have fun, meet friends, and make a difference in their communities and in the world.
When you become a volunteer, you’ll immediately start to feel and see the impact you can have on the lives of Girl Scouts. You’ll support them as they experience new adventures and learn new skills. You’ll watch their confidence soar. You’ll experience the joy of creating a more fair, equal, and compassionate world where everyone has a seat at the table.
