Scholarships

Colleges and universities recognize the merits of the Girl Scout experience by making scholarships and grants available to Girl Scouts and recipients of the Girl Scout Gold Award.

Girl Scouts of the USA has compiled a list of universities/colleges, foundations, and Girl Scout councils that offer scholarships, awards, and grants to Girl Scouts. This list can be accessed here

Girls seeking scholarships should contact their high school guidance counselor or the financial aid office at the school they wish to attend for information on any scholarships that might be available to Girl Scouts.

Remember, earning a Girl Scout Gold Award is an excellent way to give any college or scholarship application that “something extra” to help you stand out from the crowd.
