About Our Council
We’re the Girl
Scouts of Central & Western Massachusetts. We’re over 5,000
girls and 3,000 adult members strong. That’s over 8,000 girls and
adults who believe every girl can change the world!
We have girls reaching their fullest potential in 186 cities and towns. Our girls are discovering what’s important to them, connecting with their community, and taking action to make the world a better place.
We are creating adventures, learning opportunities, and future leaders at our four camps, two Service Centers and with dedicated community partners.
Counties Served:
Berkshire, Franklin, Hampshire,
Hampden, Worcester and a tiny northwestern part of Middlesex Counties.

Join us in creating welcoming spaces that seek to empower and engage youth and adult members to be authentic partners in this endeavor.
We CONNECT…
over 4,500 square miles in central and western Massachusetts. That’s I-495 to the New York boarder, Williamstown to Westborough, Sheffield to Shrewsbury, Bernardston to Brimfield, and everywhere in between. We have over 12,000 members experiencing new adventures every single day and making friendships that will last a lifetime. Teamwork, friendship, and community unite us and we shine brighter together.
We GET INVOLVED…
in our communities. Hundreds of service projects are completed each year! Our girls and volunteers change the world through small acts of kindness and BIG ideas that make a lasting impact. Serving meals at a community soup kitchen, collecting items for local shelters and singing holiday carols to bring cheer to elders are regular aspirations for our girls. Older girls are traveling the country and the world through awe-inspiring projects that show a girl she can make a difference in the world.
We WELCOME…
