You're a registered Girl Scout Cadette
Go on a Girl Scout Journey. Through a Girl Scout Journey, you'll earn leadership awards that will help you in earning the Silver Award.
Identify an issue you care about. Brainstorm topics you are most passionate about and identify issues related to them.
Build your team. You can earn the Silver Award individually or with a team of 3-4 girls. Gather a group of supporters who believe in making a difference and can help you along the way.
Explore your community. Identify communities you are a part of or have worked with in the past, and assess needs or gaps within them.
Choose your project. Confirm the community need, and how you will take action to address it.
Make a plan. As a group and with help from volunteers, create a project plan. Then, share your plan with GSEMA.
Put your plan into motion. Work together to implement your plan, making sure everyone on your team has a role and responsibility.
Spread the word. Once you've completed tour project, it’s time to think about what you did, why it mattered, and what you learned.
