Fall Product Program

2022 Mobile Version Banner-300

The Fall Product Program is a council-sponsored program that combines educational activities for the girls along with money earning opportunities for troops. The program is directed toward family and friends, those closest to Girl Scouting, who can purchase nuts, candy, and magazines. Individually registered girls (Juliettes) can also participate.

The Fall Product Program helps girls develop 5 core life skills: money management, people skills, goal setting, decision making and good business ethics. Girls also learn skills in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and ecommerce.

It's easy to participate! Girls chose to how they want to participate: in-person with the nut order card; online using the M2 digital platform or a combination of both.

Troops earn proceeds on every sale to help fund troop activities and experiences and girls earn exciting rewards! It is important to note that troops must participate in both of the GSJS Fall Product and Cookie Programs to apply for additional money earning activities.

Goal Setting:

Setting goals is the key to a successful sale. Troops and girls who set goals earn big. Talk about what your plans are for the fall and what the funding would be needed to make it happen. Give your girls the opportunity to fully experience Product Sale Programming and don’t skip the Goal Setting and Decision-Making skill building! The Fall Product Sale isn’t as simple as saying “sell 350 boxes of cookies” since the product line is varied. By leveraging all product options, the girls can discover, connect, and take action to meet their troop’s funding needs.

For example, in a troop with 10 girls: If each girl sells 3 magazine orders and 20 nut items, the troop earns $260!

Care to Share/Gift of Caring

A key element of Girl Scout Product Sales is our Gift Of Caring  program where we donate boxes of Girl Scout nuts, candy and cookies to the United States military, The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties and other charitable organizations within our community. Girls participating in the Gift of Caring program earn the Care to Share patch when meeting their goals.

Fall Product Sale Program Specifics
Girls earn proceeds on Gift of Caring items the same as all other nut/candy sales. Girls earn the Care to Share Patch when selling five or more donated nut/candy items. Simply list the number of nut/candy items to be donated in the last column of the order form, and collect payment for items sold. Council will retain these items for donation.

All Gift of Caring items are $7 each.  Please keep in mind these items will not be delivered with the troop/girl orders, but rather are retained at Council.
