James Wall, National Gold Award Girl Scout and future astronaut, recognized the desperate need for diverse LGBTQ+ representation during his time as a Girl Scout. That’s why he founded Glitterary, a digital literary magazine by and for LGBTQ+ youth. Affordable Greenhouses for All
Recognizing the community need for nutrition access and education, Troop 44043 designed a compact, portable greenhouse for under $25. Troop 44043 also distributed fliers to raise awareness and share their design, and hosted a greenhouse building workshop that sent low-income families home with their own greenhouses and starter plants.
