The Medina Foundation
Foundation Partners
Partner Highlights
Since 1994, the Medina Foundation has helped Girl Scouts of Western Washington grow and sustain outreach programs for girls in underserved communities. They make programs like Girl Scouts Beyond Bars possible: bringing Girl Scouts to girls impacted by parental incarceration. Thanks to their support, we leverage $2 million of our budget for financial assistance, intentional outreach, and programming to assist girls in our most vulnerable communities.
Google.org
Google.org’s partnership with Girl Scouts of Western Washington brings STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) programming to girls who may otherwise not have access to such opportunities – girls of color, low-income households, and rural communities. Their generous support helps make our all-girl robotics events affordable and accessible. This year, we’re particularly grateful to Google.org for partnering on all Girl Scouts operations with a generous grant of $100,000.

Costco Wholesale
Costco has long supported Girl Scouts of Western Washington’s community engagement efforts. This year, their partnership funded troop start-up costs and extra support for volunteers in new troops in under-represented communities. With Costco’s generosity, we can develop a sustainable community presence and provide the customized support each troop needs to experience the benefits of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
