About the Director

Brenna “Pitch” Woods is so excited for the upcoming camp season. This will be Pitch’s second year as Director of Maude Eaton, but 21st year of involvement with GSEMA. Previously they have been a Unit Counselor, Unit Leader, Leadership Director and Assistant Camp Director at Camp Wabasso. Additionally, they worked at WIP resident camp as the Leadership Director and Co-Camp Director. They believe camp is a place for people of all ages to find their voice and learn from those around them! Outside of camp, Pitch works as a first-grade teacher. They received their Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Bridgewater State University. At camp, Pitch loves singing, crafting, archery, and dessert cookouts. Pitch is so excited to be returning to GSEMA in this new role and cannot wait to meet all of the campers and their families—both returning and newcomers!
