About Summer Camp

The crackling sound of the first fire you built by hand. The feeling of the waves against your kayak. How will your summer be unforgettable?

At Girl Scout Camp, you are the main character in your own adventure. From archery to boating, marine biology to backpacking, come challenge your limits in unforgettable ways. You will be amazed at the confidence you bring home!

At Girl Scouts of Western Washington Summer Camps, we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment for our campers and our employees, regardless of birth gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, cultural heritage, ability, economic status, or family dynamics. We strive to hire staff who reflect the diversity of our camper community and provide inclusivity training to all camp staff prior to the start of camp.

Camp Robbinswold

Campers stay in open-air cabins or platform tents with up to five other Girl Scouts. Nearby there's a covered area for cookouts, running water, and pit toilets, so everything you want is close by. Open-air cabins make campers feel close to nature while knowing they're protected from the elements. In case you're wondering but afraid to ask, the answer is: Yes! All the bunk beds will include a mattress for cozy nights.

All meals are served family-style. Campers sit with other camper groups so they can make friends and hear about other's experiences at camp. Our skilled kitchen staff prepares healthy meals with multiple options to choose from. Our cooks are experienced at accommodating special dietary needs!

Volunteer-Led Community Camps

There are eight volunteer-led overnight camps in Western Washington. Each has unique activities and accommodations. Check out the full list of volunteer-led camps here.

Paying for Camp
Check out our 2022 Summer Camp Frequently Asked Questions for current information on paying for camp, financial assistance, and camp scholarships.

Previously GSWW introduced a tiered pricing model for summer camp. In 2020, GSWW evaluated the camp pricing structure to ensure camp fees covered program expenses and were competitive to market. While tiered pricing allowed flexibility, it also created confusion for our program participants and was very difficult to plan and budget towards. As we continue to recover from COVID-19 financial impacts, a uniform pricing helps reduce financial risk and simplifies the fee structure. As always, we will continue to provide financial assistance with the generous support of our community, and pursue grants and partnerships that help reduce camp program fees.
