Where Will I Sleep?
Campers stay in living units such as open-air cabins, platform tents or indoor sleeping shelters. Campers attending specialty camp trip sessions will sleep in the trees in our hammock living unit!

Our youngest campers stay in the Pixie living units—this means indoor units where you'll sleep on mattresses on the floor, just like a big slumber party! The Pixie units are a perfect introduction to camp for first-time campers because they're carpeted and have heat and cubbies. Bathrooms with showers and flushing toilets are just a few feet away. Counselors sleep in a connected foyer in case the campers need anything at night.

Arboretum
The arboretum is the perfect place to explore the flora of Camp St. Albans. The arboretum has kid-sized trails that showcase many native plants. You'll find throughout the arboretum trails, there are plaques that label and provide information about the trees and plants. We also have scavenger hunts and fun things campers can do to make their exploration more exciting. The arboretum was built and is lovingly cared for by the Friends of St. Albans.

Music Wall
Our Music Wall is up and ready for campers to come and make music. This area uses recyclable materials that make different tones, sounds, and rhythms. As a free play space surrounded by cedar trees, girls can go in and make music with their troop, camp unit and new friends.

Wait, There Are Gnomes?

Campers aren’t the only little creatures that inhabit Camp St. Albans. Gnomes have moved in!  Gnomes inhabit two areas of St. Albans where they've built little villages. Younger campers love to write the gnomes letters and leave them at their gnome houses.

Camp St. Albans is also home to wood faeries, who are very shy and never seen. But if campers are very quiet after lights out they'll hear the wood faeries outside their cabins, singing and playing their magical instruments.

"My daughter had never been to any camp. She didn't know anyone, it was out-of-town, she's shy, and yet, she had the time of her life! I was extremely impressed with the camps' organization, programming, and especially the Camp Director who was friendly, professional, generous and efficient. I was so delighted when I visited! What a wonderful experience."
